Launch of science project " Science in traditional stories" for International school award under the aegis of British Council on 5th July 2014.
SD Public School, BU Block, Pitampura launched its science project "Science in traditional stories" for international school award under the aegis of British Council for international accredit ion. Students of class VI & VII enacted the stories of "The Thirsty Crow" and "Lion & Rabbit" and identified the scientific principle hidden in them.Mr. Nainwal a retired principle from a Govt. School along with Mr.Goel & School principal Ms. Anita Sharma also shared some interesting stories with scientific principals in them with students. Students enjoyed the activity.

CBSE REGIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2014

Lakshay Singhal  of XA & Deepanshu Jindal of XI A participated in CBSE regional level Science exhibition held at Rukmini Devi Public school Pitampura on 7th, 8th & 9th May 2014 With their model Hidden treasure under  the theme Energy & Himani & Gagan participated with model ways to control diabetes & aggression naturally under Health theme. Students got good exposure as about 200 exhibits were displayed  in the exhibition from various schools of Delhi & outside Delhi. Students work was appreciated by judges.

Career counseling Session was conducted by Mr Jitin Chawla & about 35 students of our school from class XI A attended his workshop at Sachdeva public school,Pitampura on 24th April 2014. Students were made aware of various science related career options & courses which they can pursue at various universities.
